China Certification 

China vehicle certification is based on China Compulsory Certification (CCC) system. Vehicles and assembly plants will be deemed to comply with the China National Standards after successful product test and plant audit.  

 European Certification 

European vehicle certification system consists of EC and ECE type approvals.  EC refers to EU certification system and ECE stands for Certification of Economic Commission for Europe. E- / and e-Mark are the European conformity marks issued by the  type approval authority (like RDW) that indicates that the products and manufacturing  process (Conformity of Production: CoP) comply with relevant laws and regulations or directives. The tests can be done by Technical Services (like HCS). Vehicles or automotive components without e/E mark certification cannot be sold in Europe.

 HCS accreditation and designations 

HCS, accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council RvA,  by law appointed as the national accreditation body for the Netherlands, as inspection body which fufill EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012; and designated as technical services by  RDW(E/e4), approval authority for the Netherlands; NSAI(E/e24), the national authority of Ireland;   and Færdselsstyrelsen(E/e18), the Danish Road Traffic Authority
